IMO, the skin packs are more useful to get a nice looking face, but you should always pick one that fits the body type.
I have chosen the Big Bottom Edition of Caliente’s mod (often known as CBBE) as I like the way that the models look, plus it has an underwear mode which I prefer and also, CBBE is far more configurable than UNP.
